SophieWe’re delighted to welcome senior account executive Sophie McCartney to The Word, who joins us after cutting her PR teeth at London agencies including Wildcard and 360. With an impressive national contacts book and four years experience working on consumer accounts including Gillette and Ryvita, Sophie has been appointed to help strengthen the agency’s national portfolio of clients.

Sophie says: “I’m thrilled to have joined The Word PR! I’m looking forward to getting stuck in to some exciting and inspirational campaigns and the team have been amazing in welcoming me!”

I contacted The Word after hearing of their professional reputation and really friendly appearance, and they agreed to take me on for the week. With my interest in languages and cultures, along with a desire to study Spanish and Chinese at University, The Word seemed a great place to improve my communication skills and gain experience and knowledge of public relations. Catching up with Arthur Smith

Rachael and Sophie took a trip to meet up with the Arthur Smith last week who was recording a radio ad for the UEA Heroes campaign.
