On 12th May PR practitioners from across East Anglia came to The Forum in Norwich to get a ‘behind the scenes’ glimpse at BBC Look East .
Organised by The Word Account Manager and CIPR board member Rachael Paddick, the event gave delegates insight into how the regional news programme organises its output and needs to change with the news agenda, sometimes just minutes before going ‘on air’. The event was presented by Look East editor Nikki O’Donnell and concluded with tours around the BBC studios and gallery.
The event enjoyed the biggest turnout ever seen by a CIPR networking event in the East Anglia region, which lays excellent foundations for the other CIPR events which are being planned for later in the year. The next being an online PR forum, to be held in Cambridge in September. More details to follow…
